What a coincidence!
Coincidences are weird.
My ODD was born on the same day (several years apart) that DH and BM's divorced was finalized (which is also a couple of days before DH's birthday).
YDD shares the same birthday as BM's husband.
And tonight, I learned that BM and her husband's anniversary is the same day as my Mom's birthday.
It's nothing bad, but just funny how several significant events happen on the same day.
SS did ask whose birthday he should celebrate, YDD or his stepdad, but that hasn't been an issue yet. For discussion, what do you think? Do you celebrate depending on what parent the kid is with, do milestone birthdays take precedence, or something else?

My son
and nephew share a birthday 16 years apart (son is older) and they also share with my ex uncle. My youngest daughter was due on my son's birthday but arrived early. My oldest daughter shares a birthday with four female cousins the day after my grandfather's birthday (who shared with four male grandchildren). Yeah, we have craziness in my family lol!
My son is a grown man with a family so he celebrates on a different day from his much younger cousin. When he was a teen we did nephew's party during the day and son's in the evening. The girls never celebrate near their birthdays as it is close to Christmas so we just pick days.

If you have 23 people in a room, there is a 50/50 chance 2 will share a birthday - if you go up to 30 people, it's a 100% chance. So it's not that uncommon, actually. Especially if you have a large family.
