As great and wonderful as yesterday was, today is just the opposite. I've not been working as I should. I've been reading blogs and I'm feeling sad, depressed, angry and ready for a fight. Am I the only geek here or has anyone watched Battlestar Gallactica - the new one? You know how Starbuck was always ready for a fight and goaded people on? That's how I'm feeling today. So, Kevin, bring it on! I'm 40, I'm bitchy, I'm crampy, and kicking somebody's ass would really make me feel better. Zen's husband, that goes for you too. I have a roundhouse kick to the balls with your name on it!!!

I also read the blog about how people don't have sex during marriage? Well, it's been a while for me (3 days is a while - believe me). If Truelight and I don't connect at least every couple of days, we get a little bit grumpy. So tonight, no matter how I'm feeling, I need to do this. He might get hurt in the process, but that's a chance he's just going to have to take. LOL!

Right now, I would really love to meet up with some of you guys and get shit-faced drunk and dance around a bonfire - know what I mean? Here on ST, I believe we all know the "real" us. Here, we don't have to hide who we are, we don't have to be nice if we don't want to - we're here to let out our feelings, and it's not just about step-families. I believe this site is therapy for all kinds of stuff. I love it, and I'm here almost every day even if I don't post or respond to something. I feel I'm among friends here - friends who support me or will kick my ass in the right direction if I need it.

Okay, I'm done rambling. I just needed to get that out, I guess. I think I'll go home, take my little dog for a long walk, take a very hot shower, have a glass or three of wine and then give my husband a good seeing to tonight. I heard that sex is good for cramps.

Here on ST, I believe we all know the "real" us. Here, we don't have to hide who we are, we don't have to be nice if we don't want to - we're here to let out our feelings, and it's not just about step-families.

-----> This brought tears to my eyes, because I often find myself IRL "pretending" to be someone I'm not at the sake of other's feelings. Atleast here, I have support, I have understanding, and I have a means to let all of my feelings out regardless of what they may be without being made to feel like I'm wrong for feeling it. This site is truly a Godsend.

Feeling the same way I must admit.

Being forced to work and think like the last dumb ass who programed the job I am on. is re-uckindickulas!
this job is so -ucked up and everyone thinks it's just a complicated part.

Remember that show. "Name that Tune?"
Well, I can fix this part in 3 moves!

(If management would just let me loose on it.)

I would reduce set up times.
Any dumb button pusher can run it.
And production would increase by 30%

I know!!! Pick a day next week, and we'll go to Tumbleweed for margaritas. We'll gorge on a big meal and alcohol and then we'll start working out together. What do you say?

If you are anywhere near the central Kentucky, southern Indiana area, please let me know - anyone. I would love to arrange a get together sometime. I've got a great deck, we maintain some good booze, and there's a fantastic redneck bar down the street called Electric Cowboy.
Truelight loves to watch his woman have a good time, and I could easily convince him to be the DD for a night.

I'm feeling much better this morning. Truelight and I had some much needed reconnecting. You know, I snap at him, I threaten physical violence if he comes anywhere near me, and what does he do, he catches me by surprise by running his fingers through my hair, and then I'm nothing but putty in his hands. It works every time, and I'm always cheerful afterwards - why do I fight it so much to begin with??? Maybe it's cuz I want him to work for it? LOL!!! Anyway, I'm a happy girl again.
