A little backstory, I am in the reserves and I have been away from home for the last three weeks. I went grocery shoppng on Thurs and Friday enough to cover my BD12, BS10, DH and myself. Skids were aware that I would be gone(skids SD21, SS19, SD15. They did not visit DH one time while I was away, but tonight SD 21 suddenly wants to come see her Daddy....

SD21 lets DH know around 1:00PM that she is going to stop by with her new boyfriend but doesn't say a time(or at least DH doesn't tell me a time). at about 4:30, when I would be getting ready to make dinner he tells me that Princess just called to see what we are making her for dinner. (I had already asked him if they were planning on eating at our house) No answer from him, as usual.

My kids both really wanted ribs but I didn't have enough for extras so here I am running out to get extra ribs (45 minutes out of my way) when I should be making dinner and returning and fixing dinner only to have Princess come in and relay that she doesn't like ribs! Great! A whole lot of wasted time, time that I would have been more that happy to have spent resting from my three weeks away from home, wasting on someone I will never be able to please anyway.

I am so tired of being a slave to Skids schedule, if my kids BD12, BS10 weren't here, I would make a disappearing act everytime any skid come over.

I think next time I will just take my kids and let DH do the work for a change.

Don't know how that would work considering he has been feeling sorry for himself becuase he had to take care of our dogs (2) while I was gone by himself. BOO! HOO!
