Last night--follow up to the fridge note+

well, so much for northern keeping her mouth shut about the list. I just couldn't, I was too pissed. I confronted F when he got home, and he said he already told SD that Mon. and Thurs she would have to find other arrangements (nights where he is working late). What he failed to mention was that he had to drive her last night too. >:( I found that out when I suggested we go together to get movies and pies for our holiday after work, and he said he had to get SD to cheerleading by 6. Okay, fair enough, I'll go with you then and you can take me to dinner while she's doing her thing, since you have to drive her home too! ;p

We get to BM's house, and sure enough, BM is home. So why exactly are we obligated to do this? When we drop SD off after practice however at 7:30, BM isn't there! Too pregnant to drive SD a mile down the st to practice, but fine to go out and do whatever!

We did get one piece of humor out of it though, apparently Monday was BMs birthday, and SD completely forgot. It was not until BM's husband reminded her at about 8:00 pm that she even wished her mom a happy birthday!!! I'm sure BM was soooo pissed, but hey, you reap what you sow, she didn't even get SD a card, let alone a gift for her birthday last year, (but happily through her 2 yr old, daughter of new hubby a disney princess party) if the parent can't be bothered, why would the kid??

Poor SD, she's so excited about coming over tonight, she said it was like "another vacation", and we aren't disney family either! Just spending time away from her mom and with her dad and I is a vacation to her. she knows she's going to be working in the kitchen tonight, and doing our homework to our satisfaction over the weekend, but it doesn't even matter to her, he1r moms is that bad, just having an actual home cooked meal at the kitchen table as a family is not done at her moms, so my SD actually looks forward to this!

I know, SD is great, for all I complain about BM, treating the kid like a slave produced an appreciative loving child in my home who, when treated properly, enjoys her family, so maybe I'm off base, though to listen to BM you'd think SD the most sullen, disrespectful rotten child around... She's even said, in front of SD, "why does everyone else get the good "SD" and I only get the bad one???" hmmmm, let's ponder this BM....

Oh trust me, that's why Mon & Thurs are not possible. northernsiren has made it very clear she will not be picking up BMs slack. I can't do anything about F, if he wants to put himself out like that, that's up to him, though I will occasionally tag along, thereby tacking on a $30 dinner to the whole fiasco, hopefully to get him to realize how much of an inconvenience it is all around! Wink

from my SD, the reason we're going through it all....:
o, btw, my dad and *northernsiren* are the best family a girl(and boy) could ever hope for. Thank you for helpping me through these hard times.
