I need some womanly advice that is not necessarily related to being a step mom…I was wondering if any one else can relate to this…For some reason I sometimes “create” situations in my mind and build them up so much that they have to be “proved wrong”…I don’t know how crazy that sounds but that is the best explanation that I can give for what happens…for example….I can call my husbands cell phone and he might not answer…I’ll try back later and still no answer…instantly my mind might go to a worry situation depending on the circumstances (i.e.

I want to experience "complete" motherhood....

I’d like to revive the age old Working Mom or Stay-At-Home Mom/Work-At-Home Mom discussion…have any of you ever been “at home” moms…I know quite a few of us don’t have any children but I know that some others are both biomoms and stepmoms…I’d like to get the perspective of both…I’m planning to have a baby within the next year to year and a half and I’ve proposed to my husband that we start looking into ways that I can stay home for the first 12-18 months…any suggestions, thoughts, etc…I also wonder how this will affect the dynamics of our family and I KNOW that there will be some problems b

We had a great holiday weekend that didn’t end so great…We were both off Monday and Tuesday so that made it a nice long weekend…we were able to get the whole house cleaned (I clean the upstairs and he does the downstairs…) and all the laundry done…he had a few people over for a study group and then he and I watched some movies and sat out on the deck and enjoyed the night air…we also got his office painted FINALLY and got his desk and stuff moved in…it looks really nice and I’m glad that he finally has “his space” done b/c he helped me get my office together over a year ago and his office w

Child Support Hearing Advice...

Hey everyone, quick question….my husband has to go back to court regarding the child support…long story short she went back to try to get an increase and after reviewing all of the information, they actually decreased the amount my husband has to pay…PISSED HER ALL THE WAY OFF!!! So she requested an administrative review of the amended (reduced) order….My question is…should I go to the hearing with him? I want to go to 1. be supportive b/c I know he’s having a hard time with all of this court stuff and 2.
