I'm not sure what to do about SS. I am so sick of my house being terrorized by this out of control child. Nothing in this house is sacred. Every time I leave the room, I'm worried something will go missing or broken or trashed. SS is a sweet kid but oh so irritating. The only thing I see that would relieve the stress would be if he had a 24/7 babysitter to monitor him. He cannot be trusted about anything. He lies through his teeth about anything and everything. I am so sick of it. DH tries but nothing gets through to him. Here are some examples of everyday things that SS does that I hate:

-leaves the baby gate open whenever he passes through to the basement (I have DD1 at home)
-makes a mess with all of DD's toys and doesn't even try to clean it up
-doesn't flush the toilet
-wears his dirty shoes all over the house
-cannot do anything without being having to be asked 3-4 times
-leaves xbox games and DVDs all over the house, to be scratched
-downloads random apps on our brand new TV
-breaks his dresser
-leaves brand new clothes and shoes everywhere and loses them
-groans for 3-4 hours on end about having to do homework (which should have only taken about 30 mins)

BTW he does have ADHD but I'm thinking he might have ODD in there as well. I know maybe it's not his fault either and he's just like this. But man, if he was own child, I would be more loving and caring, but he just grates on me. I don't have any sympathy and empathy towards him.

I know that some of this stuff is normal kid stuff but it's just constant and it's breaking me down literally. I started crying yesterday because SS was careless and dropped my gloves in the sink when he washing his hands. DH told me that he's sorry and that it will get better. And I said "I'm not mad at you and it's not your fault but I'm so mad at this situation."
