Add the ss's to the wall !!!!!!

I'm coming late to the party, I just had to tell you that I went thru the same crap with my DH a few months ago. We have a long custom made wooden wall shelf that runs the length of one of our living room walls. It is filled up with various pictures and decorative items, up until DS was born 90% of these pics were of the Chosen One (my NN for SD). When my DS was born I took down 5 of the pics all together and stuck them in DH's dresser drawer, and I moved the other remaining ones off to the side. They were still there, just not in the center, instead I moved 3 of the professional newborn pics of DS and one of our engagement photos. DH comes home takes one look and says all pitifully "why'd you move Chosen One's pics?". THEY WERE STILL THERE JUST NOT CENTERED!! Prior to that our for our wedding we got one of those beautiful metal scroll style art frames that hold multiple pics. He tried to tell me that SD HAD to be in some of those pics. I shot that down quick, I said ok and then just filled the frame with our pics and DS's, he hasn't said a word since. I think they just want to whine sometimes about poor old SS or SD and don't even really care when it really comes down to it.

YES THIS - it is almost as if they are so scared that the skids will be upset that they don't see what they are doing to the partner they promised to love, honor, respect and be by their side - it is really quite sad. Lucky for me my DH wanted a partner, lover and wife and realized that it was just as important to love me and make me happy as it was SS - our big problem is my BM and that is only for 8 more months - YIPEE!!!

Oh btw our SS lives with his mother full time - 700 miles apart and I constantly send pictures of our DD and DH and I that were taken when SS visits or sometimes just of us with beautiful family sentiment on the frame and I know from skyping that he has our pictures up in his room - I am sure BM loves that - not. But also when SS lived with us full time - I would make picture boards of his BM for him for his room so that he would feel her near - what did I care it was in his room and never allowed anywhere else in the house!!!
