Bm telling Ss he has 2 last name, opinions?

This past friday when I got home from work I noticed there was a magazine sitting on the counter. It was unfamiliar so I picked it up and asked Dh where it came from. Dh casually said "Oh Bm sent it with Ss" I didn't think much of it and leafed through the magazine. it was some nature magazine for kids and on the back there was a beautiful picture of a n animal. Well, while looking at the picture I noticed that the name on the subscription was listed with Ss's first name but instead of Dh's/our last name, it had Bm's last name.

These "open letters" regarding steplife must be trending because they keep popping. This one blew my mind https://www.yahoo.com/parenting/a-letter-to-my-stepsons-mother-110662790... ...

I'm sorry if anyone has already posted this because I know these get around, but I wanted to see what ya'll thought of it... Smile

Bm filed her taxes/Question

So this past weekend Ss kept mentioning how his mommy has Soooo much money and can buy whatever she wants because she got her taxes. Court is in 2 weeks and this is one of the things that they would be discussing and she's known that they would be discussing this since November(there is no court order so Bm has claimed Ss6 every year since he was born). I'm pretty sure she is confident that the judge will not allow Dh to start claiming Ss every other year however at the same time I think she rushed to file those taxes just to make sure.

Do you guys omit certain info around your skids?

So today Dd has an appt for a check up and also to get some vaccines. Well yesterday in passing I asked Dh if we could take some time after the appt to take Dd out for some ice cream after the appt because she was getting shots. It's something my mom used to do with me and its a good memory so yeah, I wanna do that with my Dd. Well right when I said that Ss6 came up with a look of horror on his face and said "well what about me? I won't be be here tomorrow so why can't we go today for ice cream?" He also just so happened to be eating an ice cream sandwich as he asked this.

How normal is this?

So recently Ss has been making comments about how much he hates school. He's 6 and in 1st grade. I've asked him why he felt this way and he just shrugs and says "I just don't like it. I don't want to be there." Dh asked him also and asked if anyone is picking on him and he said. Usually he's quick to tattle so I don't think he'd lie about that.

Is this normal? I'm not like overly concerned or anything, I just thought it a little strange. I don't remember ever really hating school, esp not in elementary school.

Anyone else having issues not being able to delete old blogs?

Everytime I try to delete old blogs an error line pops up asking me to "try again in 6 seconds." So I wait the 6 seconds and when I try again, I get the same message but the system asks for me to wait longer. The other day when I was trying to "clean", I think it asked me to wait 1275 seconds. lol.

Anyone else having this issue? :?
