Today was OSS's birthday. ::( We only got to talk to him for 30 minutes. And we had to call 15 times before they picked up. We asked him if they went out and did anything for him, or if he got presents or anything. He excitedly told us they went to another child's birthday party. Didn't say anything about gifts or if they would do something on the weekend...poor kid got nothing, except going to another kids birthday party.

He spent a lot of time talking to me also, even saying my name when his little half brother asked who he was talking to. Such a sweet kid. We talked about his favorite books, and I will be sending him a new series on the kindle tomorrow am. At least he got a gift from us.

YSS then got on the phone and chatted with us a bit, I felt the need to apologize for getting him a super soaker instead of books, and he laughed and said he would still like books, but he loves his water gun. Apparently they are "terrorizing" each other with it. Lol, good kid. Made me smile. I think I'll send him a book or two on kindle also.

I'm really tempted to sign them both up for the unlimited kindle library after I get a hold of their kindles to set parental controls on them.

FDH is going back in for his next round of testing for the CDL. I REALLY think he will pass it this time. He has taken multiple practice tests 3 times a day every day (usually five to ten 40 question test per test). He showed me today he scored 80% or above on every pretest today. I really think he will do it this time.

Still working on the house/apartment thing. We went and talked to the people who have the trailers for lease to own? They want 20% down regardless of our credit being great or not. Uh, thats like 5k. Just to move IN to a trailer? ....Fuck no. We dont have that kind of money, if we did, It would be a down payment on a house!

So, still looking for apartments that can give us 3bdr for under 1500 a month. That aren't in shitty communities. *shrugs* We'll find something, may just do a 2bdr for now and move into a larger place when FDH's raise comes in.

And we file for Enforcement of Visitation on Monday, and various counts of contempt since BM has done exactly NOTHING to comply with the CO in the two weeks we have given her to do so.

Funny enough we file the enforcement on FDH's birthday.
