Nightmare Quarantine

A fight broke out between me and my SO. I spoke to his daughter in a tone out of frustration when she came to me for help while i was putting the baby to sleep. I frustratedly told her to go to her father since i am in the middle of putting the baby to sleep. He started saying disrespectful things to me because of that. I got so upset i couldnt get a word in i ended up hitting him. The 2 kids got afraid while i was trying to kick him out for 1. Disrespecting me by cursing me out 2. Hitting me back with much force.

The BM is in town

So BM finally decided to come visit her daughter since she was flying to a different country and NY is her layover. She is then spending the weekend and going back to the country she lives in. So let me get this straight... she can travel across the world but can't plan a vacation to spend with her child. The last time she visited was during the Summer of last year and there was a motive - to get married in civil court w/ her husband from another country.

I once thought I had a great relationship with my SD up until I found out she was berating and downplaying me to her mother. When she first started living with us I empathized with her and figured how her mother raised her poorly based on her behavioral problems and the stories my SD and husband would share with me. She berated her own mother constantly up until I kept reminding her that woman is still her mother and needs to respect her. I tried to have a mutual relationship with her mother for the sake of the child but it ended when she would berate my husband to me (her ex).
