OT- Has anyone ever tried to do the P90X workout thing?

I just got the P90X in the mail yesterday and I am SUPER excited to start it. I really only want to lose about 10-15 pounds and tone myself up a little bit, so I am doing the "lean" version of it.

Have any of you tried this workout program before? I know its going to be intense (and I am excited about it!)

I'm going to try to follow the nutrition program as well. That will be the hardest part, I think. You only get 1 carb a day for 30 days (the first 30 days...ie: phase 1...is called the "fat shredder" phase.

If any of you HAVE tried this before, any tips to get to completion? My husband and I have a deal with each other that if we make it the full 90 days and don't miss more than 5 times total we each get to spend $100 on ourselves however we want to. If one or the other cops out and the other makes it through the whole 90 days, that person gets to have $200 to spend however they want on JUST THEMSELVES!

Thanks for the comments! I am on day four of the P90X and I am loving it so far. Although, I do admit that today was yoga and I hated it, but other than that it's been awesome! Tony is a little weird. I like his little comments that he says while we're working out. He's a little fruity lol.

The yoga takes a little getting used too. After a while you will look forward to it. I was ready to cut it out of my program now I find its one of the ones that I look forward too. Good luck!

Good to know! I think I will keep doing it, but I'm not going to force myself to do it ya know. So If I get bored, I will just shut it off. I plan on running on the Yoga and Stretch X days, but we'll see.
