Can her levels of behaviour get any lower!!!!!
The two SDs came home after having their weekend with their mum (every second weekend), walked in the door and announced "Mum said if we want to go and live back with her (DH and I have had them living with us since Aug last year after BM announced she didn't want them anymore) all we have to do is tell the principal at school that Dad smacks us and the principal will phone some people and organise our return to her" Girls are 6 and 7 and don't really understand what she is doing.

NICE - She spat at her sister
Well it's been three weeks since SDs came to live with us and it has certainly has driven the stress levels up in the house. Because they are so close in age (5 and 7) they argue all the time (today resulting in the 5 year old spitting at the 7 year old!).

Grrrrr I 'mini' exploded at SD (first time)
After her requesting homemade chicken burgers for tea and me checking exactly what she likes in them, I proceded to make them. Knowing what was to come I subtly watched her eating, I noticed her picking at it and asked her to stop picking and just eat. She started with an excuse about how the cheese wasn't right. So, I interupted her and said of COURSE I didn't make it right cause that was ALWAYS the case and I was sick and tired of spending all my time cooking for her to just have her complain.

Sometimes I don't think I can do this
The SDs have been with us fulltime for two weeks now and it hasn't been easy. We finally mangaged to get all their toys and clothes from BM's into their room (there was heaps). We are struggling to get veges into them for evening meals. Apparently they never needed to eat them at BM's (she is almost finished a catering course which will qualify her as a chef so if anyone could make veges interesting and yum she should be able to!) When we asked them what they ate for tea at BMs we were told 'Mum just made us toatie pies'.

Well wish me luck!!!
It has finally happened. The SDs have come to live with us full time. After a lot of mucking around by the BM (trying to put one over on us and the government and still receive payments for the girls after getting rid of them!) Her desire to have freedom has overridden her desire for money and she has got all the legal stuff done correctly. I have become in her words a skank and my DH's boss and she will never speak to me again. All I can say is yay I wont have to listen to anymore of her BS.

AHHHHHH BM needs a hiding!!!!!!
Had SDs for the weekend as was planned. They were due to go back to BMs Sun 5pm as is normal. 2.30pm Sun DH gets a txt from BM saying "can you drop the girls off at ******* as I am staying another night (she had gone away for the weekend with new BF). The girls HATE going to ******* as it is a dirty house and they don't really like the other kids there. We had tears from them when DH told them what BM had said and so we had them another night and I took them to school this morning.

Sad how much a BM wants to get rid of her kids!
The BM is really eager to ditch the SDs onto us. Originally wanted to do it with no legal paperwork (currently she has full custody and we have them stay EOW and she wants that reversed). She reckoned that it has all changed from when she did a custody thing in 2005 and now no paperwork needed doing. I spent the afternoon ringing the relevant organisations and found out what needed to happen ie lawyer filing a variation of parenting order and wrote down what she needed to do.

Well today
BM has contacted IRD to stop DH paying child support. Hoping I think that we will agree to have the SDs every weekend (at the moment it is every second) while she goes away. This is because she wont give us day to day care until the end of the year cause she will lose money and she wants us to have the girls more without her having to relinquish any control. Fat chance!!

BM has got tired of the SDs
and wants us to have day to day care of them with her seeing them every second weekend. It has been the opposite (us having them every second weekend) up to now with her having all the say so in visitation etc. So, it will be quite good although a bit of a challange to begin with. She abandoned her two older children (not DH's) to her mother for a bit years ago and they are angry at her about that now. I can see history repeating itself. People like that shouldn't have kids!!
