Disengaged is a good place to be and stay!
My SS11 came over yesterday, and I apologized to him for last week end --- my part anyway. He was super great about it --- said "It's OK", I told him that I love him and don't want him to be mad at me, etc... didn't mention any specifics, as I am SURE BM will grill him about if I mentioned anything and if so, what, exactly. At one point, I made a joke during the evening --- he was asking me where a cable was for the PlayStation3 was, and I was teasing him, saying --- "I don't know, man --- sound like a personal problem..." and he said jokingly "My problems are your problems" and then I responded "Uh, YEAHHHHHH, I learned THAT last weekend!!! Don't have to tell ME two times!!!" And he laughed.
So, today --- he has a Lacrosse game about 2 hours away --- and needed to be there at 12, and guess what? I am NO LONGER INVOLVED --- so when DH went to the GYM, came home at 10:15, realized that SS hadn't eaten, and wasn't ready, and had to go get the car, etc., I did NOTHING! I just watched the CHAOS!!! And..... they left at 10:42, so this not being involved gig is pretty f*cking GREAT!

but was DH mad that you did
but was DH mad that you did nothing?
Thank you DH was NOT mad
Thank you DH was NOT mad that I didn't do anything.... he was kinda frenzied, but called me at noon saying that between a combination of no traffic & "driving a little fast" they had just gotten there.
The part that pisses me off though, is that my 4 year old is saying he wishes he had "two (SS'S) so one could stay here and the other could go play Lacrosse." My family STILL loses time together, and my DH is out all day at this game -- BM & her SO is there as well..., and then maybe to the movies afterward (NOT with BM) --- and I am stuck at home with our BS2 & BS4... and am exhausted. Feel like BM is smiling all day long.
The best revenge is a good life... And to have a SC to go home and REPORT to BM all about it
