O/T Jobs
This is OT but this is the biggest community I belong to and I know it's a pretty diverse population here, so I just thought I'd see what others do for a living. I'm looking to leave my current industry and don't know what else I'd be good at. I'm currently a restaurant general manager, been in the industry for the last 10 years. Before that I was a title officer before the real estate market crashed in 08 and I did human resources for awhile too.. I'm nearly done with my bachelors in Business Management and sure could use some ideas for where my skills and talents would be of good use. Any advice or suggestions are welcome! Thank in advance.

What do you like to do? If you worked in title you are most likely a people person? I, too, worked in title insurance until a little over a year ago when I decided to be a SAHM with our youngest and go back to school for Accounting.
What was your favorite thing of each job? Narrow those likes and interests and you should be able to hone in to something

If you worked in the restaurant industry. You would do good with a job that does communicating.
My cousin is a buyer and works with vendors for a company. You deal with people but on a different level and is usually a good job and people advance in as well.
I worked in restaurants for long time. I had my degree. I got a job for a small company doing all their marketing and advertising and now I work with their sales. Since it is such a niche industry it is a B2B kind of sales. No cold calling or anything like that. We get the inquiries I follow up and quote. I really enjoy it.
I would say something that still allows you to communicate.
