Gotta love it!
Wednesday R asked for a video game and M ran right out and got it for him. Tonight, R called and wanted another $20 to take his girlfriend to the movies. M jumped in his car and ran to the bank to withdrawal the money out for him. When M comes home I am going to inform him that I am going to start taking out spending money for me. Since we obviously have money to burn and I am a part earner of that money I am entitled to burn some myself. I have been wanting to get the new Carrie Underwood CD but I haven't because I was under the assumption that things were going to be tight for a while, and since I was wrong and we can afford to just give R money whenever he asks for it that CD is as good as mine.
A while back R informed us that he had signed up for summer classes. Which I am really proud that he is doing. However, I think that he assumed that he would just be driving one of our cars to class. I pointed out that if they scheduled the class at 8am (which they did ) he would have to figure something else out because M's and my work schedules over lap and I work 1/2 an hour from his school and don't get off until 8am. He is going to stay with his mom and walk from there. So glad to have avoided the whole "Well, he can drive your car situation"
Because of R staying over at his mom's house to attend the summer school classes I am now taking bets as to how much longer the "family" laptop will last before we have to start paying for something that we no longer own. Life is great!
