NOT a fan of the SK today...

Before I drive the SS about an hour and a half away for his practice (oh, and hang around during) and then back home, I remind him to do the chores on the fridge. Nothing too hard - pick up your room, your bathroom and put your laundry away - the laundry that I washed, dried, folded and carted to his room. I get the whole eyerolling "you're so annoying" look that happens whenever I ask him to drag himself from the tv, phone, computer...
I hate that I let his snotty little attitude get to me but it's so frustrating! AHHHHHHHHHH!

What worked for me was disconnecting the TV and walking away. I removed the chip from their satellite box.aimf5 No argument nothing...Trust me BS16 cleaned his room quickly and without yelling. Only takes one time with both of the boys. Now when I tell them they usually do it quickly. SS is actually better than BS.

Wow thanks...I may have to try that. I decided yesterday that when things don't get done and I have to do them, that time will cut into his time. So, if I have to clean up after him then he will be late to wherever it is he needs to go.
It's just the ungratefulness that makes me crazy. After spending a total of five hours yesterday getting him to and from his practice (and keep myself busy during), he's upset because I won't go back to the store and get him chocolate milk! He should've asked on the way room - oh but wait, he slept all the way back!
