Just spent the last two weeks getting ready for my Ss, dil, and 3 kids to visit my husband and me for Christmas. Shopped and wrapped gifts for the kids. Gave S&S and dil cash gifts. They stayed all night at our home for three nights. When opening their gifts, the 11 year old boy claimed that his sisters gifts cost more! (I spent the same on each child.). I have never relieved a card, letter or gift from them. When saying goodbyes tonight, I hugged Ss and said, "I hope you have a Merry Christmas." He looked away from me and did a half turn.. He also calls me the "other woman".
