So I have absolutely no time to get on here anymore! but last weekend we had SD and it was wonderful. We had the best time. Friday night we went to eat and then came home and made ornaments. I wanted a "family" tree being our first Christmas together. So we had blast Friday night. She was so nice to me. And she completely forgot about the cell phone.

Saturday was another great day. We did various things all day but had fun. That night we took her and my best friend's SD to Disney on Ice. I've realized I kinda spoil her because I actually bought one of those $10 snow cones! I had to when she said her mother would buy one!! I'm such a pushover...

Anyway Saturday we were talking about a birthday party of one of her lil friends and
she says,"Well SM, you're related to her."
I, confused, said, "really who is it?"
And (are you ready for this) SHE SAYS, "well I'm related to her so you are now because you're my family."

Oh my gosh yall my heart lit up when she said this! This was the first time she had ever acknowledged me as her family. After months of worrying that she hates me I finally got confirmation that she was warming up to me as her stepmom.

I am hoping she continues to be happy. All I want is her happiness!!
