Ungreatful step demon (daughter)

any suggestions on how to deal with a brat of a 17 y/o step daughter? she has flat out told me that I'm not family because I'm the step but yet she enjoys all the luxuries I provide for the household. My wife and I have only been together 7 years, we have an 8mo old son. i am counting down the days till this brat graduates high school and goes off to college so we can have a normal family finally.

That awful mouthed 17 year old accomplished what she set out to do. That was to be hateful and hurt your feelings.

That's incredibly immature of her. I guess she thinks the stork that brought her also brought her 8 month old brother?

Poor you, I know just what you're dealing with. Be kind to her, she's going to have a very difficult life ahead with her thought processing. Sit back and watch....it won't be pretty.
