Who has the say so in my house???

So FDH got his 2 sons back tonight cause BM has to work, and she let SS7 bring in a brown paper bag half full of candy into our home that she had bought for him at the gas station right before they came here. FDH let her bring it in, so I'm just wondering...does she stil have say over what goes on in my house? Or am I overreacting? I'm pretty upset about it! This is my holiday with my 2 kids, I knew his 2 would be here, and I had the evening planned out for all of us, but needless to say, what I had planned is a flop!

I hate the holidays in this blended family!!!

This is the 3rd year I've been with my FDH and involved with this fucked up situation! I can't stand his family!! And I can't stand how he becomes someone else when we hang out with his famiy!! My FDH says things to me like..."my family doesn't know who I am and I don't say anything cause they will always draw their own conclusions and they still won't know who I am, so that's why I don't say anything" so wtf?...he acts like someone I don't know when we have to go spend time with them. And we HAVE TO!!

Signs of abuse?

Yesterday, which was a Saturday, was a lot of work for me. All 4 kids here, the FDH (who isn't so darling) was a complete bear! His back was hurting, and he was tired, but that's no excuse for the way we were treated by him. I tried very hard all day to help him feel better, I tried to keep the kids occupied and well behaved, but the day turned out terrible, and now this morning is starting out on the same note. When the man of the house is miserable, and then makes everyone else feel badly, is that a sign of emotional abuse??
