is this reasonable
Ok I will explain my feelings...dh and I have been married for 8 years...both of our spouses had passed away before we met each other. Dh had 3 adult children...2 of which lived in his state of birth..sd lived in same state as dh.....I had 3 children as well..2 under 18 and one adult....a couple of years ago dh,myself, my daughter and sd and her family were transferred to dh former state where all dh family is....things went bad fast....my be came of age and moved back...sd and s il did the break up back together break up dance...sd blamed me and my daughter for everything . Then a year later, dh and I transferred back. Shortly after sd lost custody of her children...she has dh snowed about the whole situation. Anyway what is really bothering me is dh texting sd several times a day with I love you and I miss you sweetheart messages...no mention of grand kids.,and I don't receive a message from him unless I send him one first...usually I get a reply of "what" from him....I don't see why he has to message her a dozen times a day and if he is going to call her sweetheart or cutie pie in all his messages then I don't want him using those same terms with me.

Ugggg, I would be angry if
Ugggg, I would be angry if he dared ever use those same names for me as his wife. I also would be bothered by the frequency of those texts. Once a week seems too often to me for a father to send I miss you texts. Several times each day is definitely excessive. :jawdrop:
I get it too. My DH no
I get it too. My DH no longer contacts me much during the day anymore (and if he does, it's generally a whining kind of text like "I'm so tired" or "It's so cold out") and I'm just sick of the complaining. But he texts SD20 frequently, and she sends him pictures etc all the time. I think he's told her "I love you" more recently than he's said it to me. If I wasn't pregnant with our second child, I honestly would probably be making plans to head out...I deserve a real partner.
Its really ridiciulous that
Its really ridiciulous that to them this is normal behavior. I know this sounds twisted but I cant help it this is how I really feel, to me it seems like if he could have her for a wife and get away with it he would....I'm tired of being last. I really feel tor you honey as you are pregnant and should be getting more support from your husband...when. we first got married I said something about having a child together and his response was "absolutely not".
