Gross and Annoying
We have beautiful weather here! I'm sitting outside on the patio with my dogs trying to relax. SD10 comes and stand literally 3 feet from me. She starts complaining that the dogs don't want to play with her. I don't blame them. Just ignore her. She is throwing a tennis ball around by herself. And still didn't get the hint. She is 10 and totally oblivious she just stepped in a pile of dog sh!t. I point it out to her.
Me: pick up your right foot, do you not smell that?
SD10: what
me: you have dog poop all over your shoes! Leave them on the porch and don't wear them back in the house. They will need to be cleaned off.
sd: it's not my fault. I'm not the one pooping in the yard.
me: you need to be careful and watch where you are walking. Also, don't play in the pine straw where they go. Just leave the shoes next to your dads.
sd: they're okay now, I just scrapped them off.
me: just please your shoes on the porch please.
sd: I'm not trying to talk back, I'm just saying it's not my fault
me: okay ____
SO ANNOYING and GROSS! One, she didn't even realize it. Two, she really would have worn them back in the house if I didn't catch it! Her attitude is awful and downright annoying. I am disengaged, but I'll be damned if her poop shoes are coming in the house. How does anyone else deal with the back talk when you HAVE to engage?

"Just take your shoes off I don't need a 30 minute synopsis of why you don't feel it was your fault you stepped in dog sh@t while not looking where you were walking in the yard!"
