Back from the beach
My darling hubby made his daughter go with us to the beach and she was a total brat. Nothing was good enough for her and she kept calling me booble head. 
I keep trying to be nice but it's so hard sometimes. He spent most of his time there on the cell making business calls. I wish he could hear her talking so mean to me and my sweet little baby. Then he could make her stop. I don't like running to him every time she says or does something mean. It makes me feel like a tattle tell.

I'm sorry your DH is too caught up in things to see what SD does to you. Sometimes kids can be so mean. She's old enough to know how hurtful the things she is saying are.
My YSD said something pretty rude to me a few weeks ago, so I know how awful it can feel. Us sisters have to stick together though! *hugs*

We just got back from our 2 week vacation, and my SS8 was horrible. Anytime I would ask him to do something, or if I said anything to him if he was misbehaving, all he'd say is "you're not my mom - I don't have to listen to you". It drove me nuts.
I finally took our BD to the beach (just the two of us) for a couple of hours. My DH was angry that I left SS out, but I just didn't trust myself around him, he had me so worked up. UGH,
