So this has been a pretty peaceful summer. SS12 went out of the country for a month (nice break) and came back in love with all of us and missing us. He went to a very poor country with BM and he might actually appreciate, briefly, the good things in life.

It has been nice besides the usual irritating things he does that seem to be "normal" 12-year old stuff. I'm hoping that this is not the calm before the storm. The hardest time he has is when he is in school. He still is a bit sneaky (figured out about internet p0rn, but without a computer he can't access that). We are having talks about respecting women and that THAT is not healthy (let's say) relations.

Otherwise, he has been helpful, considerate, conversational, and rational. Hmmmm.....
