Am I overreacting??
Of course, I give DH a good job post and then this happens. I have to ask. Did I overreact to this? I asked DH what he is going to do with SDs this weekend. I have to work on Saturday. His answer, "I thought I could cuddle up and watch movies with them." At this point, I was confused because our living room is packed with boxes. We are moving in 2 weeks. So I asked him about it. Turns out, he thought it would be okay for him to have the SDs come in our room and watch movies with them on our bed!! Uh hell no, DH! I am working Saturday morning (3 A.M. - 9 A.M.) I need to sleep in the afternoon. He said they could watch movies while I was sleeping. Once again, I told him hell no. He says he will move some boxes around in the living room so they can watch TV in there. But, of course, he went on and on about how unreasonable I am being.
First of all, I need to sleep after working the night shift. And secondly, the SDs (10 and are too old to be cuddling in bed with DH. Even if I wasn't going to be working, I would have been uncomfortable with the idea. Am I wrong about this? Did I overreact?

Now, I dont like my SD7
Now, I dont like my SD7 "cuddling up" to my OH on our bed either, so I can see your point.....also, with your working hours I think OH is being totally unreasonable expecting you to not have some sleep in your own bed when you return home without being disturbed....to me, if OH said he wanted to curl up and watch movies with his daughter I would expect him to make space in the lounge to do just that.....
Nope not wrong. Why he would
Nope not wrong. Why he would even think that you would be able to sleep with kids in the bed watching movies????
DH used to lay in bed with his girls. It would piss me off. Who wants a teen age girl in her booty shorts laying all up where I just had sex?????
No you arent wrong, your
No you arent wrong, your bedroom is for you.
Now had he said cuddle on the sofa watching movies, to me no foul. Hell they could move some boxes and make themselves a little den. There is a world of difference between cuddled on the sofa (sat with an arm around) than spooned up in bed, one is acceptable between father and 10 year old daughter, the other is not.
Thats without looking at your working hours, in which your partner is just being a douche.
I think he should have them
I think he should have them working and packing to help you guys move.
And I agree with the others - it's your room. My room is off limits to kids including my own.
I came home from shopping one
I came home from shopping one afternoon to find my husband and SD napping together in my bed. I was so disgusted. I immediately started making a bunch of noise to wake them up. Once they were out of the bed, I took all of the sheets off and put them directly in the washing machine. Then I told my husband that SD was not welcome in our bedroom, never mind our BED, for the 20th time.
I don't blame you at all. Your bedroom should be your private, kid-free place.
Master rooms are for the
Master rooms are for the adults. No kids. My parents had that rule and so do we. My kids do not come in unless to sit on the chair and tell me something. But, that is rare. Never on the bed. Eww! We have sex there. That is gross.

I let my BS3 watch tv in our room but no way in hell do I want skids in there.
