Tattoo Chapter 3 - the head explosion

Recap: SD17 Power sulk purchased a tattoo kit online, with money from an "allowance" being given by Toxic Troll. It was sent to our house. I researched, found out what it was, spoke with sweetheart niece, and determined that she would not get her kit until 18. 65 days. Spoke with husband (hes not dear at the point, in case youve missed that...) and he generally agreed with me, and promised that he would not give her kit until 18. I gave it over to him with assurances we were united in this.

So, no messages from SD17 Powersulk about packages.

Packages still hidden

Spoke with Husband and he agrees - no she doesnt get the tattoo starter kit until shes 18, and he will explain why.

I had previously had a few more convos with SH Cousin who put the fear into me, so now I understand more about the risks. Unclean needles, unlean gun, inclean anything leads to infection and possible diseases.

Trust that she will do the right thing? hahahah.

So, I took a new approach. I sat down with Husband and asked him to be my "sounding board" prior to any discussion. He kept trying to answer my questions which is kinda funny, so I explained the concept of 'sounding board', and he settled into it.

I asked the questions. Worked it out in my head and was ready to walk away from it all right there.

ok, so I need some specific advice:

SD17

Powersulk has been a major truant, with some knarly grades in important classes. The reason, she states is that she has been having migrains, fatigue and nausea.

Today, Husband related to me that she would be completing her senior year online.

I asked "so how is that supposed to go, and you know she HAS to graduate".

He told me that he doesnt really know but was assured that she would walk with her class. She had it all worked out with a counselor.

So, as you well know, Feral Forger SD24 is a MESS. How much of a mess, well, husband has a front row seat currently.

Shes now moved AGAIN (they sold the house) and needed rent money to the tune of $800. Husband when her first told me sometime ago, a week or something, said he told her firmly "no".

But of course thats just when the negotiations begin. She found the "sweet spot" at $400, and was busy shuttling her to the bank and back for the remainder because of course its now the 1st.

Following your advice, I did not say anything to Feral Forger SD24 (yet) or any other family members, and thought about comments that were posted on my previous blog post.

Last night as we sat watching the new netflix series Griselda, I did however bring up the fact that I am angry. "Im not happy with Feral Forger right now" is how I put it. "I dont like how she bashes you to your own family", and proceeded to relate the few details I had and where they came from.

Im steaming mad right now. Not thinking clearly, and I am taking some time to cool off and think logically. Writing it out here really helps. Plus the golden nuggets of advice. 

Ive done untangling the whys and whats.

Powersulk SD17 and I were conversing last night. Just light conversation. Friendly.

She brought up her sister, and ranted a bit.
