SD IS 18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SD is finally 18!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She will graduate this year. I know this doesn't mean she will leave my life. Trust me I know this. BUT it does mean we are NOT obligated to let her in MY house anymore! I couldn't be happier!
DH texted her at like 4:30am (when he gets up for work) so he could be the first to tell her he loves her and happy birthday. And how does the little bitch repay him? She posts on her TWITTER the following:
All I want for my birthday is a GOOD daddy........... :jawdrop: WTF. I have done well with not worrying about their relationship and just doing my own thing. But today that just pissed me off. BM moves her 6 hours away of course he can't make EVERY damn game or every meet or every what ever. HELLO! He has to work to pay THEM. Just pist today!

Hmmmm, response could be all
Hmmmm, response could be all he wants is a good daughter.
I don't understand the ideal of good some of these kids have.
My skids think their dad was/is a bad dad. My dd20 thinks he's the best bonus dad around. When DH and I were talking divorce she was crying because he's been in her life since she was 4. She couldn't imagine it without him, didn't want to make me mad by asking to see him
My kids LOVE DH. My daughter
My kids LOVE DH. My daughter calls him almost daily or texts him. Skids hang up is simple.Their MOTHER has them believing that every single dime DH makes is theirs. They are entitled to all of his money, tears, happiness. You name it they feel entitled. It is disgusting.

ยป this depends on state
Believe me it does get
Believe me it does get better. Hope that she goes out of town to college and gets a life of her own, then she won't care about your lives. My SO's daughter (18) went to another town to college and it has been very peaceful, except for when she visits. I'm not looking forward to the summer, but she will live with her mom and hopefully not be her usual drama queen, get a summer job and just hang with her friends.
