BM... are you serious?

DH got a text from BM yesterday evening. He hasn't heard from her in MONTHS...probably close to 6 or 9 months.

This is how the conversation went:

Is it odd...

That BM named her cat the same name we gave our dog? She knows it's our dogs name. We have had him for 3 years. She got the cat about a year ago... strange, right?

My Little Sister, becoming a StepMom, and I am so disappointed in her. OT- Sort of.

I have to get this out. Because I am not supposed to know any of it yet. But I just want to strangle her for taking the hardest possible path she could have with her future.

All 3 of my babies are in High School now... and SS's bday was a success

I can't believe how fast time has flown by. I dropped all 3 kids off at the high school this morning. And then... I cried. They are growing up way too fast!

SS having Bday Lunch with BM tomorrow

With her dad of course...

Of course she is playing MOTY on FB posting a million pictures of him, all old. And talking about how she is going to have lunch with "MY SS" ummmmmm... no, you abandon him, remember? Pretty sure he is no longer "YOURS".

SS's bday is in 2 weeks. BM is going to have the crazy turned all the way up for the next 2 weeks.

Totally OT...

I'm going to be 39 years old in a few weeks. Typically that is WAY too young for menopause, but not in my family. My sister is 42, and completely through it. My other sister is 46 and almost through. My mom was done by age 44.

BM thinks she is going to join the Air Force...

She posted on FB that her dad things she should join the AF or Peace Corp. Of course Peace Corp doesn't have an age cap... Air Force Caps out at 39... BM is 38 and 4 months.

I wish someone would remind her that she can't do drugs in the Air Force. And I highly doubt they will take her at her age, she isn't a HEALTH 38. They will take one look at her and laugh her out of the recruiters office.

Which sucks, maybe the military is exactly what she needs...
