Frustrating
I feel like such a burden. I don't think my DH understands. I really don't. I get frustrated and upset. I cry and sometimes get angry. I lose things everywhere. I forget things. I can't remember simple things. He is supportive but can't seem to understand why I get upset. I think that's normal. My whole life has changed. I'm not normal anymore. (if u havebt been reading I had a stroke 2 weeks ago)

Stressing about your losses
Stressing about your losses only hurts you. You are only 2 weeks out. From what you've described you had a very significant brain event. It will take time to figure out how to use your new brain. And mourn the loss of the old you. While I did not have a stroke, I did have head injury, twice. Both times there were abilities loss and had to be recovered or worked around. You will get there.
Message me if you want.
Honey, it's o.k. You've gone
Honey, it's o.k. You've gone through a very difficult ordeal. Things will get better, just give it some time.
Be sure to let a doctor know if you begin to feel too depressed for too long a period of time...you may need something for that until you're more fully recovered.

I'm very sorry you are having
I'm very sorry you are having to go through this. It may not seem like it now, but things will get better. The brain heals more slowly than other parts of the body but it does heal.
It's normal to forget things and feel emotional. Your brain is having to create new pathways to send and receive signals. Give yourself a break and some time, you wouldn't expect to walk right away with a broken leg and you can't expect your brain to work exactly the same right away after a stroke. Also, your brain is prioritzing what it does while it heals. So restoring or creating new pathways to send/receive signals about major life sustaining functions will happen before restoring/creating a new pathway to the memory of where you put your keys. Your doctors have lots of options to help in this process. If you don't think yours is doing enough, get a second opinion.
Also, I don't know if you are into alternative treatments or not, but fish oil has been shown to be of some benefit after a stroke or brain injury because it contains EPA and DHA. You may want to ask your doctor if it's something that would be good for you to try.
I am a person of faith so I will be praying for you and your family. ((hugs))
