FDH actually did something! He contacted the cyber school here in PA and he's now looking into getting SD's birth certificate and unofficial transcripts so he can get started on enrolling her into school, something that should have been and could have been handled a month ago had GUBM pulled her head out of her ass long enough to realize that there are other options and, gee, maybe SD's dad CAN help...

He found out that it won't cost us a dime for SD to be enrolled in the online school here in PA and that as long as FDH maintains residency, SD can utilize the program. He doesn't need to list her as residing with us. And, since there's a self-paced option, SD can't use it being "too structured" or "rigorous" as an excuse to not get a damn education. There are also gifted programs so no more of that "I'm too smart for this" nonsense, either.

FDH talked to SD today about it, too, and she's definitely interested.

Now, let's just sit back, wait, and watch GUBM squirm over trying to figure out just what is wrong with this plan so that she can complain and say no. Because I know that she will throw a hissy over something.

Total wishful thinking, but, I hope this leads to showing SD who GUBM truly cares about.
