Rant- My evening with FDH ruined

First, I have to say that FDH has been wonderful and so supportive since I've been home from rehab. He's even attended two AA meetings with me. Tonight he even asked me if he could go. He's thrilled to have "his old Anne back" and has been really great about dealing with his kids and ex better and including me in decisions. So, great!

Last night, FDH went to BM's to pick up the girls. The youngest, as usual, gave him a hard time and didn't want to come to our house. FDH told her she needed to get in the car. She said "I don't want to come with you but I don't want Mommy to go to jail". He asked her what she meant by that. She said "Mommy said you are suing her".

Argh!

OMG, I am SO pissed.

Instead of dropping SD off at swim tryouts, FDH wanted to be a good guy and stay there with her. The agreement was he would contact BM to let her know what time SD would be done so she could come pick her up and FDH could come home straight home and not drive all over the damn state for the third time today.

It’s been a wild and wacky couple of days with the Skids and BM. The girls have been here since Wed evening. As I previously posted, SD12 arrived with her surly attitude and was rewarded yesterday with a scooter ride from Daddy and unlimited computer time yesterday/last night.

FDH had planned to rent a sailboat for a couple hours today to take them out and do something nice and fun. Last night, conversations went like this:

Me- Did you tell the girls what your plan is for tomorrow?

FDH- I told SD15. She’s really excited.

Disney Dad Strikes Again-- but only for ONE child

The SDs arrived last night. SD15 has been with her grandparents all summer. It was great to see her. She adds light and fun into this house. SD12, on the other hand, showed up in a pissy mood, tried to follow her dad into our off-limits bedroom, whined, and didn't bring all her diabetes supplies resulting in late night calls to the endocrinologist and a run to the pharmacy.

This morning, SD15 was up at a decent time, went swimming, read and was generally great as usual. SD11 slept until 1PM, ate and played on the computer all day.

Slightly O/T- My friend is going back to his ex (BM)

A good friend of mine is twice divorced. He has two sons with his first wife and no kids with second. He still slept with both of them from time to time. (He's the nicest guy you'd ever meet so I find this funny). He was the one who was always telling me to put an immediate stop to FDH ever going in BM's house because he thought it could lead to more.

So I just found out that he and BM decided to patch it up after being divorced for years. She is moving in at the end of the month.
