I have heard this now for a decade...

I kept track of visitation and pick up/drop offs, organized activities for children, bought phones, clothes, beds, mattresses, set up rooms, tvs, a console, encouraged and rooted for good relationships with both parents, etc

The moment I corrected or demanded respect of my boundaries, I was the worst stepparent and I was told by children, BMs and my husband that I have no right to tell off the children or put them in time out

I always tell myself to blog on this site but the amount of events that happen to me in relation to StepLife are so vast that I am unable to find time to sit and document it

Today, I am in a really dark place. Actually its been a few months but I think today may be that I am in a deep hole....Kind of where I was back in 2017 after experiencing physical and mental abuse from OSS22 (a teenager back then)

I am sitting in bed after work....I took a nap...while napping, my husband was next to me talking to his ex wifes son.

I just wanted to take some time to make a little PSA so that no one gets fooled by their disney dad partners this weekend (mine tried so I am well aware of the tactics). It doesnt matter that this weekend is supposed to be their time because its mothers day and therefore should be spent with the MOTHER (key word in the holiday)....Too bad for the dads but they have their own time coming up in June anyway!!
