Why is it that I am expected to do everything for SS & SD but when it comes to punishments for their behavior in my house I am railroaded and made t feel that I mean nothing and my feelings don't matter?! I am getting really tired of it. Something needs to change around here! I am tired of the disrespect and the constant hard feelings! If I am expected to do everything like their mother than I should be able to parent equally!

What is the matter with men?!?!?!?!

How is it OK for DH to be at his exes house watching tv but it is not OK for me to get upset about it cuz he "Didn't want to have to drive back into town later to get the kids". When asked how he would feel if the situation was reversed I was made to feel like an ass. GETTING REAL SICK OF THE BULL*&#$!!!!!!!!!!! I know he loves me but sometimes I really wonder why he has his head up his ass!

O.K. - so I was on the phone with DH trying to have a conversation with him and SD13 is in the back ground going mocking me the whole time -"HI< MY NAME IS ****** AND I'M FAT AND I'M BORED AND I DON'T GO TO THE GYM ANY MORE AND I'M FAT" - so I hung up on him. WTF - What is the matter with teenage girls that they feel they can treat you like shit?!?!?!? By the way I have been in this relationship for 6 years and have done everything plus some for these kids!@!!!! When did I become the wicked witch of the west?!

Happy to see others out there going through the same thing I am.

I don't feel quite as lonely dealing with the SD issues knowing that there are others with the same problems. When did children stop respecting adults?! I know that if I ever spoke to my parents (step or otherwise) the way that I am spoken to & treated punishments would have been handed down and respect would have been demanded.
