Sorry really long just needed to get it all out

SS15 decided the wanted to live with his bat shit crazy BM last week, as of today he is living with us again. I was getting my daughter ready for the day when his school called me, SS15 was caught smoking "pot" outside the school with 2 of his friends. I contacted DH and explained what was going on and headed up to the school. We go through the entire process with the interview with the police and talk to the principal to find out that its not really pot but synthetic marijuana.

DH sat down with SS15 tonight and told him the rules and that failing was not an option in our house. He explained to him that he needed to follow the rules and that he was not to disrespect me. SS15 decided he cant live with our rules so he took his things to BMs house tonight. I expect he will be a high school drop out by the end of the year. Poor child he had so much potential.

So SS15 who lives with us, is now failing 5 out of 6 classes and has been grounded from everything for 3 weeks swore he had all of his work caught up. He asked yesterday if he could go for a bike ride at 12:30 so DH said yes. 6 hours later he is still gone and we finally find him at BMs house. He then calls at 9 to see if he can spend the night. Two weeks ago he spent the night and got sick on the way to school because BMs house is so filthy. He had to sleep in a chair because his bed is covered in cat urine.

I have been in the step kids life for 3 years now. Everyone told me it would all work out and be great. Its not they all lied. I am so fed up with being disrespected in my own home. His kids are terrible, rude, disrespectful, and lie all the time. I am tired of walking on eggshells worrying if I am going to upset one of them in my own home. Husband had court today and now we have them 5 days a week instead of just the weekends. I love my husband with all my hear but I can't handle his kids.
