I have a step daughter who is 17 now.  We have had issues over the years and I seem to be so lost.  My wife says I'm cold towards my daughter and seem to be heartless.  I have had a lot of built up resentment towards my step daughter for years.  I have been angry because both of us are alpha type personalities.  I feel as over the years she demanded so much of my wives attention and in turn she got it.  My wife and my step daughter are like best friends and I'm on the outside.  I personally over the course of 2 years could not stand my step daughter, she would walk in the room and my blood

They're awful. I am 15 years younger than husband. I am 33 he is 48. We are both divorced. I have 7 & 8 year old girls. Now, DH (dear husband) and I have 2 year old son. His daughters are close with their mother except for two of them. She is bitter and angry. I am certain she probably has justification, but enough time has passed that I kind of feel like MOVE ON from your anger. 

Got into a literal fight with SD this has been going on since I met the spoiled brat when she was 8 and my husband just slept through it I love him but I've had enough
