I have 2 adult Stepchildren, ages 22 and 25. I have been in their lives since they were 13 and 16. Our relationship has been up and down. They like me when they agree with me, they hate me when I call them on their issues if they involve me. My 25 year old step daughter has 2 children and is a lazy slob. So is her husband. Recently I questioned a photo in which a bin of medicines was left on a table. I confirmed that it always sits there and suggested that it be moved to a high position where little hands could not get to it. I was told off.
