it still makes sad that they arent part of my family
I don't fully understand why. I know there is always multiple sides to a story. Sk are not involved in our family.
It's sad that they do not want to be a part of their dads life. It is sad that they are allowed not to be involved.

Same here. SD14 started
Same here. SD14 started pulling away a few months back and we know BM talks shit to her about us and is PASing her big time.
DH was sad (likely still is) that he never receives texts or calls back from her, she only contacts his family around her birthday and christmas for gifts. Hell, he even dropped of the CS check in person yesterday hoping to see her. She wouldn't even answer the door, even though he saw her through the window! He left the envelope on the porch and walked off. Texted her, saying Please give this to your mom before it blows away, I love you. Got nothing.
He's hoping that she'll mature and see BM for what she really is someday and come back to us, but I'm thanking my lucky stars that I don't have to put up with her drama and immature b.s. for now. DH and I have a perfect relationship when she's not involved.
He'll be mailing BM her CS checks now. He's done trying to reach out to SD14.
