Seems to be a rather common theme on here today.
I just want to whine and throw myself a pity party.
I have kids, LOTS of kids. I've raised, am raising, or at least had a hand in raising 6 kids.

I'm STILL waiting for a "Happy Mother's Day" from my husband.
He fucked up last MD for me, too, and "made up" (haha) for it by giving me a Father's day card.
WTF.
At least my bios managed to wish me a happy md. My one SD who I think of as my own texted and wants to Skype me (she lives on her own now) and sent me a card.

Fuckity fuck-fuck.
Pissy mood.

BUT, I live in a border town, so I "fled the country" for the day. (Doesn't that sound dramatic?) I went shopping and enjoyed a nice, long drive in my convertible.

Happy Mother's day, everone. Whether you're a bio, step, adoptive, foster, or... whatever.

As I typed this, my SD called and told me she loves and misses me. Ahhh, in some cases, it all works out and there's some light at the end of the step-tunnel!!
