Sometimes I hate being right

Guess who called tonight none other than the older sd telling her dad she is emo. She has cuts on her arm and her mother took her to the doctor and actually is finally going to get her into counceling. Can you believe this witch knew this when she called and jumped DH about me explaining tampons this last summer and didnt say a word about that. That was over a week ago that she called and not one word was mentioned about her cutting herself but wanted to make sure DH knew they wasnt going to be able to come up this summer because of me talking life with the 12 year old. Oh my gosh this woman has got her priority all screwed up...
I do hope she does take her to counseling because this child does need it I do wish the best for the sd and the best would be if her BM was out of her life but dont see that happening. Prayer for you sd..

I'm sorry to hear that! SO's XSD15 (he still talks to her a lot on Skype) also has emotional issues including anorexia and self mutilation (cutting). She has depression which she is being treated for & it has helped tremendously. She's back up to a healthy weight & the cutting has stopped for the most part. The combination of therapy & medication has helped greatly.

Best of luck to your SD. It's a long road. Hopefully BM is supportive & not an idiot (although it sounds like she's failing miserably so far).
