I'm utterly and completely EXHAUSTED!

We just got back from DS's 2nd birthday party, and OH EM GEE! I'm beat...19 kids and parents (every child came with 2 parents...).

I planned and executed this entire party all by myself...ALL BY MYSELF...Which was fine as I'm a bit of a control freak and a super party planner, so I really didn't want or need much help during the planning stage...

Not like I was going to get any...

DH did nothing...He DID keep DS out of my hair while I cooked and decorated cookies (something I'll NEVER, EVER DO AGAIN, BTW!), but I was on my own...I'm too tired to decide if I'm pissed off about that...I don't think I am...I'll figure it out in the morning...

MIL didn't show up...DH told me that she was "on call" for work so she probably wouldn't be there which was fine with me...I really didn't need her scrutiny, and because I was running around like a crazy woman, I'm SURE my inner dialog button was broken...so she didn't need to be there to compare and criticize...

I had a GREAT time...
