ss16 moving in
Ss16 wants to move in with us due to stepdad being a pain in the ass. He's telling both skids that he is their dad and not my DH because they are with him more than DH. I haven't ever had a conversation with BM or stepdad because DH and BM do not get along at all. I don't want anything to do with this woman anyway! There's been so many things that I do not agree with the most recent being the threatening of DH with continuing to pay her money for ss18 even though the decree has DH no longer obliged to pay her. Money for education can be paid directly to the school and she is pissed- she wants the money and "she will see it goes where it needs to". If its like all the other money, it will go towards remodeling or a new car. Hate hate hate this woman.
ss16 and I don't get along very well but if it would mean never having to hear about all the bullshit from that side and us finally being able to stop paying that bitch child support im all for it!

SD15 wants to move in with us, too.
For us, it's not about the CS - it's about BM and stepdad screaming obscenities at and "spanking" a 15-yr-old. Unlike a lot of skids we hear about here, SD15 is a GOOD kid - sweet, respectful, hard-working, and loving. It's not like BM would be forced to pay anything anyway as she's been unemployed (and refusing jobs!) for almost a year now. But she'd sure feel the pinch of losing her tax-free $8k/year and child deduction.
We're looking at a six-month to year-long court process that will cost thousands. Ugh.

Ladies, there's no proof
Ladies, there's no proof except the teen's say-so. We're 1000 miles away from BM and the state the custody order is in. We just got in recording equipment this week, and once we've laid down a solid base of evidence, we'll be going for full custody.
