Across state Medical Insurance ?!

We just received a CS review. BM was ordered to carry medical insurance. She is in VA we are in PA. Is this even possible? Would they allow a PCP in PA? Anyone have this issue?

My DH carries SS on his insurance and we live 700 miles from SS - it is also in the divorce decree that DH is responsible for insurance for SS until he graduates high school!!
