My weekend....
So I decided that I would be the adult and not freak out when the future skids come over for the weekend. After all, the middle one called and checked to see how I was feeling when I was sick last week. I gave her the benefit of the doubt yet again. He goes to pick the girls up and she said "I'm so glad your better now I don't have to stay with memaw (her BMs mother.) Okay, well....I'll be optimistic. We take her to dinner and then out for icecream and hot chocolate. All she did was complain complain complain....I told her three times it was cold outside. She was warned SEVERAL times that just wearing a sweatshirt and tshirt wasn't going to cut it. She refused to put on warmer clothes.
Sunday comes around and she asked if she could bake a cake in the morning so that it would be ready for after dinner. I agreed ONLY if she cleaned up her mess. Well she makes the cake and gets it in the oven and then all of a sudden she says "I don't feel good, I can't clean up." So I start cleaning the kitchen (and it was a MESS) so when my BF came home from taking the youngest to CCD he wouldn't have a stroke. She sees me on my knees cleaning and I even told him when he came home that she didn't clean the kitchen because she said she didn't feel good. Why didn't she feel good? She has acid reflux and she forgot her medication while on vacation with her BM (CHRISTMAS TIME!!!!) She never told us she forgot her medication up north. Her Pediatrican even said to stay away from fried food, greasy food, food with alot of acid, carbonated drinks, and etc. What did she do first thing in the a.m.??? She ate she wasn't suppose to and I told her she wasn't going to feel good. The kicker is that I made a big breakfast for brunch and she felt good enough to eat two helpings, play on the computer all day, and run around the house with her sister.
Future Skids live with the BM who lives with her mother just a half mile away. We get them every day and a half (BF HAD to work around the mothers schedule...which is BS to me.) Anyway, they go back home after dinner and dessert. This morning I get up to pack my bio children lunch and send in monthly snacks and I noticed that a box of snacks are opened. I thought it was odd because it was a big box for 24 individually packaged snacks (for the class) and I had bought a smaller version for not just my kids but my future SKs too. She had opened the box and took all but 15 (and mind you that this was a 24 count.) I specifically said that this box was for the SCHOOL and that there was a box for them. I don't mind that they have snacks...heck I even give them snacks to take back home at their mom's so they can take to school...Of course when confronted she lied but then fessed up. She had no valid excuse except "because I wanted them." What? She isn't a 5 year old child.
I have mentioned before about throwing in the towel but my BF begs and pleads for me not to and let her "fix" things. He has promised to "fix" things and nothing is being "fixed." I love and adore my BF and my children do also. Which makes it really hard....
I'm glad they are not with us now so I don't have to hear the disrespectful stuff out of their mouths but I dread because they come back tomorrow...once again for another day and a half.
