Mediation outcome

So today was the day that DF and BM went to mediation to discuss a schedule now that BM wants to move 8 hours away from the kids. After numerous lies told by BM and the obvious bias that the mediator had for MOTHERS even though DF is the one that is the primary, they finally came to an agreement where BM would come get them once a month when they have extended weekends from school, spring break, and the summer. After the mediator typed up the agreement and came back, my DF asked if she could handle the child support part or would he need to file a motion. At that point, BM yelled out no and complained that all DF is concerned about is child support. The mediator explained to her that she would need to pay child support since she would be out of the children's lives for a significant time. BM said this is not going to work and walked out!

BM is absolutely bonkers if she thinks that she shouldn't have to pay child support once she moves 8 hours away and leaves DF to take care of the children physically and financially during that time.

Uh... yea, she is bonkers if she thinks she won't have to pay. If she's the NCP then that means she pays CS. Very logical to most normal people but then I've yet to see anyone on this board complaining about how normal and civil their BM is.

Hopefully the mediator will write what a wacko BM is in the report, so at least you will have that.
