Can't Find BM and Skids-Update
A lot of people asked a lot of questions, good ones.
The police department was reluctant to take a report and had to get the supervisor... By speaking quietly and calmly and telling them that she took the money out of the bank and had previous suicide attempts, they decided to make missing persons reports. They were reluctant to make a report because they BOTH retain custody of the children and they had every right to be with their mother. Fair enough, I said. However, she has a past history of suicide, DCFS reports, emergency room admissions (finding nothing) and has threatened to take them out of state. The father was not notified of any planned vacations. I asked if they could put out an Amber Alert and they said that the children are not really "missing." They are with the mother. I said, maybe. We don't know where they are, or if they are or are not with her. That seemed to do the trick. Bringing photos and other logs we've been keeping also swayed them a bit. The male officers were more hardened, they said that they see this all the time and mothers hole the kids up at friends, or motel rooms, or boyfriend's houses. They usually come back in two days. Well, it's been 4 days now. Waiting to hear from detective.

Well, this is what has me
Well, this is what has me baffled. I don't know why they don't think it should be an Amber Alert. I do. We don't know if they are with their mother. We just know that the car is gone and no one is home. Last time she left them at her sister's house and had surgery and was gone for a week. The sister never notified us.

It's possible but we have called the relatives and she is not there.
It's a BIG silence on all ends.
It's getting late here, if they are not back in a few hours (school tomorrow) it's not looking good.

They haven't spoken since
They haven't spoken since Friday the 5th. However, we get text messages if the boys are late or absent from school. We are assuming they were in school on Wed. Thurs. and Fri. the school was closed. He went to the school at closing time only to be told school had been closed. However, her car has not been at the house as he has been going there. It is possible she has gotten an apartment (lives with mother). In any case, he left messages everyday for her to call as he has some papers she needs to sign. She just refuses to answer or call back. If the mother is there she does not pick up either. The scary thing is that she just got the refund check for 3000 which gives her running money she didn't have before. Still no calls from the detective.

I know yall are worried to death. I'll be praying for you. Is there anyway you can have the police department get the phone numbers she has called from her cell phone? If her cell phone is on her mother's plan, her mother can get the numbers online. Just a thought.
Check and see if the school has received a transfer of records to another school on Monday. You might have already thought of this also.

I agree that you should pester those cops all day long. Is it possible the family is lying to you and the kids are there and they are not saying anything? I'd call them all again and let them know that you have contacted the police etc , it might get them to talk make it sound like they will be an accomplice to kidnapping. Make sure to tell them how bad this will look on BM when you go for full custody....even if you are not planning on it, it will scare her.
