More System Nonsense

The mediator instructed my SO to go to the boys highschool and make sure his name is on the school records. When he went to the school orientation to pay the fees, he gave the school the contact information form. So, he calls the correct person in charge of student records and is told that only the mother is listed as a guardian. Now the school is requesting written permission from the mother to have the father added to the records. So, SO asks me to talk to him (English is second language and not divorced yet). I tell the counselor that there is no divorce yet and that the mediator working with the father instructed him and the mother to add his name to the records. So, the counselor gives him the info needed to monitor kids grades and attendance online but won't add him to the records. He then requests a written letter from father or mediator that he still has custody of children (legal). I further explained that the mother is trying to alientate the father from the children's lives. He feels bad and says, at least the father cares for the kids enough to want to be involved with the school. So, tell me, how do these women do these things and get away with them? I am so tired of the mother bias I am encountering. I just read the other post on Malicious Mother Syndrome. I don't care what you call is, a rose by any other name, etc., it's still the same and the effects are the same on the children. I'm starting to think that these women need some jail time for fraud, slander and child abuse.

There is no divorce and no protective order. The protective order needs to be against her. This is why she tried to keep him away from the school orientation.

Both parents are equally entitled to access to the children's school records unless there is a protective order. What state are you in?
