First let me say that I am sorry if I am being selfish by thinking of myself when the whole country is on lockdown because of a horrible pandemic........

Let me also say that I have bio children and grandchildren...I do love grandkids....---my .grandkids live about 12 hours away, I am super proud of them, love them dearly. Some of you have seen my blog entry from a few days ago about my DH arranging to take care of 5 year old grandskid since daycare was cancelled.-He was concerned about skid schedule, but I was not consulted, and I still work. So today said grandskid was over, in all fairness, he has been much better behaved than he used to be..... here is my question--- DH caterers to the little gskid like nothing I have ever seen...." little skid, lets get you breakfast-little skid lets make cookies, little skid lets play with cars... little skid, I love you SO much" This was all the first hour! I counted DH told the 5 year old that he loved him So much, 6 times in 1 hour!!!!! I literally have never seen anything like it... he carried the kid around part of the day, and literally rolled around on the floor with the kid ALL day- I am not kidding either. I said, " DH,  how about some quiet time, just let him play quietly with his toys for awhile " DH said "I can play with my gskid if I want" ......Icing on the $hit cake was when SS wife called 1 hr after kid went home, and asked how many days gskid could come over next week..... DH said as many days as they want..... she replied she would look at her schedule...(nobody wants to know about my schedule)..............God help me.....
