Next time
I have to say, SS14 is about a million times better since her delinquent brother stopped coming around. And some of what she does is just 14 year old girl stuff. After all, the best 14 year old girl is still a horrible creature. But still she does some things that are just plain rude, and I keep telling myself, "next time."
Next time she comes barreling at me without saying anything, I'm going to pretend I don't notice, and stand there. Usually, I move out of her way without her saying, "excuse me." Next time, I won't. If we crash, we crash.
Next time she says anything to me, I won't respond or acknowledge she's spoken at all. That's what she does to her dad, and I think I'll give it a shot, to show her what that's like.
Next time she uses the last of something and leaves the empty box on the shelf, or goes to her moms and leaves wet clothes in the washer, or cooks and leaves the dirty pans and dishes for someone else to clean, I'm going to gather them up and put them in her room.

Sounds like a brat
I would ask her to clean up - teenager brains forget things A LOT. You have to REPEAT and REPEAT.
But then I dont know the details!
