The fun of not having a CO

Oh bother

So today before DH picks up the kids I reminded him to please bring up the holiday schedule for this year.

Normally I wouldn't but SD6 keeps saying she's spending them with BMs family. In South Carolina. 9 hours away. 

So he does and yes according to BM that's the game plan. DHs family just moved locally to be with the kids on holidays . Yay. Normally we split Christmas so Eve one place day the other

So DH and her are in agreement of ok well we will trade every year on and off. Fine . Whatever

Oh but now more fun. So BM took them to Disney a few weeks ago and they both missed two days of school. They will be missing more because while next weekend was our weekend BMs sister in SC has a big 40th birthday . So the kids are possibly missing another day of school but also that WAS OUR WEEKEND. Which she tells us now

Lovely lovely woman. I hope the crystals she worships are shoved in her nether regions in hell

So getting one means an extra step which neither of them wants to take

BM does not have the money and would likely see support go down

DH and I don't have an actual house ( loft studio for now) so if we get more time at this stage it'll make things difficult

They have an informal written agreement but we all know that means jack.

That is pretty much my DH and BM to a T!!! Like so much the same. BUT...DH and BM have a very detailed court order....like super detailed and it  accounts for all 365 days of the year.....every holiday...every birthday....Now...do you think that it has ever been followed? No, not one single time....ever. BM just tells DH when and what and where.....and he says okay.

The holiday stuff sucks doesn't it??? I have not enjoyed a single Christmas (and Christmas is my favorite) since I met DH. I now dread it....BM always changes plans and always finds a way to ruin what we have planned.

Stick to the GD court order or in your case get a court order.

Sorry to hear. That scares me more as that means even with a CO there will be potential fun. Yay

I think that depends on how the relationship is now...like is the BM the ultimate boss and your SO allows it...if so, a CO is a waste of time.
