BM has not seen SS in 2 months.... next move?

So since DH won primary custody at the end of July he has only heard from BM 1 time, and nothing since. She requested to switch days on OFW and he replied but have never heard anything from her since. She is supposed to pick SS up everyother weekend. Her Dad did call BM when SS was with him and he got to talk to BM for a few min a month ago.

We never expected BM to drop from the face of the earth. So now DH concern is what she is up to, where is she living, what is our move if she does show up one weekend when we have no idea what has been going on.

Advice?

He has final say legally. If he needs to make a "major" decision he will have to try to call her but he does have final overriding say.

We no longer have a lawyer retained so we have not asked. And with me having to take a paycut due to my work closing a lawyer will not even be a possibility right now.

Is there anything in the CO stating that each party must have the other's address? This would be my biggest concern, having BM show up out of the blue one weekend for her EOW visit and your DH not having any say but BM takes SS and you have no idea where she's taking him and what type of environment he'll be subjected to.
